Born in Southampton in 19??Following a long career in plant hire and transport the government run job centre have now told me I am too old to find work. So if thats the case I am going to enjoy myself and see something of the world. I always wanted to Join the Merchant Navy but did not get the chance in my early days and then family took over and my longing to travel was put on the back burner. Now I have the time and ambition to really see somewhere other than Britain.

Born in Crewe in Cheshire, I studied Agriculture before working in the dairy industry for a few years before turning to logistics as a career. John and I met through work 11 years ago and have been married for 8 years.

Although having travelled a little more than John, I still yearn to see far more of Europe than I have already seen.

Our constant companion, Jake, came to live with us in Aug 2006 after his owner was unable to keep him due to personal reasons. He is the most loyal little fellow and is happy as long as we are around. He loves nothing more than a ride in the car so we have no worries about his enjoying the trip.

Joined in 2010 by Ellie May a 6 year old girl rescued from Anglesey.
